Winter 2016 Foos Schedule

We’ve got a great schedule planned leading up to the Las Vegas Hall of Fame Classic. Adrian Zamora is being inducted into the hall of fame this year, we should have a great bay area turn-out to show support. Full schedule is always at https://bayfoos.com/calendar, highlights below.

New Schedule Additions

Points races in January and February: The January points race starts January 5 and ends January 30. The top expert, amateur, and beginner players all win packages to the HOFC Warm-Up. We’ll reset points and run a new points race in February too.

Shake-n-Bake tournaments every week: We’re running a Shake-n-Bake at Cuetopia every Saturday. We’ve lowered entry fees on the Shake side to make things fair for draw-side teams.

Singles tournaments every week: Open singles at 6 PM every Saturday at Cuetopia. Beginners play free until they cash at least once.

Tag-team rule: A couple can enter a doubles event (BYP/DYP/SnB) as a single player, and can choose who plays each game.

Hall of Fame Classic Warm-Up: March 4-6 at California Billiards in Fremont.

January Points Race

Points race runs January 5-30. All events at Cuetopia and California Billiards are eligible for points.

4 points for 1st place finish, 3 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd. 1 point for attendance.

Top Expert, Amateur, and Beginner players all win packages to the 2015 HoFC Warm-Up, March 4-6.

In the event of a tie, we’ll use the following tie breakers:

1) Number of finishing points vs number of attendance points: the player with more points for top 3 finishes wins.

2) Winning record: Player with more 1st place finishes wins, then with more 2nd place finishes, etc…

Thank you Dana, Steve, and Phil for donating prizes for the points race!

We’ll run another points race in February, rules will be announced at the end of January.

Bart O’Hearn Warm-Up!

There are a bunch of bay area foosers going to the Bart O’Hearn Celebration Foosball Tournament in Austin this year. We’re going to throw a warm-up event at Cuetopia from October 23-25, it should be great fun! This is a bit like the HOFC warm-up we threw earlier this year, with some schedule tweaks so they’ll be fewer conflicts.

Check out the flyer: Bart-O Warm-Up 2015.
