  • Cal State 2026 – Thank you everyone!

The 2026 California State Championships was a huge success. We had 73 players enter, even though Florida State and Oklahoma State were going on the same weekend!

Next year we expect better turnout, larger payouts, and better scheduling to make sure 2027 CalState won’t happen on the same weekend as other tournaments. Our next big event will be King of the Hill at the end of September, with $9k prizes. Look for a teaser to be published at the end of June, and the full flyer will be released in the first week of July.

This would not be possible without community support! The Bayfoos team has a vision, and we’re going to use these tables to bring foosball in the Bay Area to the next level. That’s only possible because we have a committed player base and a supportive venue. Players didn’t just enter the event: they practiced. They recruited partners. They developed strategy. They set up the site. They supported each other through wins and losses. They helped everyone get to the tables and start their matches on time. And they congratulated our winners.

Thank you for everyone that supported this event! And congratulations to Nick Furci and Jeffrey Tiglon for winning Super Doubles from the Amateur side, and Jeff again for winning Super Singles as an Amateur! Lots of respect for Bayfoos MVP award winner James Castillo, and Most Improved player Sebastian Trevino!

We still need to go through the videos on YouTube; we will link to those once they are ready. In the meantime, you can check out the 2026 Cal State results at House of Tournaments.

  • Cal State Championships – Same Schedule, Lower Entries, More Choices!

Good news everyone: you’ve got more choices in the events you can play in the Cal State Championships! We’ve also lowered the entry fees while keeping the payouts the same. The biggest win is that we’ve simplified the sign-up process. We firmly believe that minimizing conflicts is critical to providing a good player experience, so you’ll still need to pick and choose… but now the choice is yours. Here’s how it works:

    • The schedule is divided into blocks. Players can enter at most one event per block.
    • Pricing is fixed per event: $20 for Beginner, $30 for Rookie, $35 for Amateur, $40 for Expert, $50 for Pro, and $60 for Open events. Open Mixed is $20, and Senior Doubles is $15.
    • Lower ranked players are welcome to play in higher ranked events, but will need to pay the full entry fee for those events.
    • Table fees for beginners are $15 per event, up to $30 for the whole weekend.
    • Table fees for everyone else are $15 per event, up to $45 for the whole weekend.

The sign-up website and announcement flyer will be updated soon. If you’ve already paid and are due a refund, stand by, we’re working on it.

The block schedule is below. Pick at most one event per block.
